Zak Sally is an Eisner-nominated cartoonist, musician, educator, and publisher. After a long stint in the seminal band Low, Zak struck out on his own and founded La Mano, a small press dedicated to high-quality hand-crafted print projects. He is the creator of the acclaimed series Recidivist, which Fantagraphics collected as Like a Dog. Zak lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with his wife and kids.
