Hannah, a successful tech entrepreneur, decides to drop out of society and create a new social app, “Know Me.” She’s invited to test the app on a small religious community, the Church of Love and Devotion. The results go way beyond any intended consequences as lines separating the self, technology, and belief become blurred and lead to religious cult indoctrination. Loosely inspired by the life of the notorious Jim Jones and updated for the social media age, Holy Hannah explores family and the ways in which people’s lives become intertwined in unexpected and toxic ways.

Will Dinski is a Minnesota-based artist + designer. He is the author/illustrator of the graphic novels Trying Not to Notice (2d Cloud) and Fingerprints (Top Shelf Comix). He received the “Head on Fire” Award from the Raintaxi Review of Books in 2016 and the 2013 Minnesota Center for Book Arts (MCBA) Jerome Book Arts Fellowship. When he’s not writing or designing, you can find Will biking around Minneapolis, where he makes his home with his wife and their two dumb cats.

"Dinski’s skillful, simple line drawings are bolstered by the clever, meta formatting: the small black volume resembles a pocket bible, complete with a yellow ribbon marker. This vivid, involving parable about the dangers of cult thinking grinds a sharp point toward the foibles of modern-day would-be gurus."—Publishers Weekly
